Barnabas Ministries of Central Florida is dedicated to encouraging and empowering individuals through relationships and community. Barnabas is a ministry to encourage spiritual growth and service. Founded by the Reverend Jim Spencer, this ministry serves to provide assistance to individuals in the manner of Christ. Through the listening of hearts and attention to situations, Barnabas connects the dots where needed in order for wholeness and new life in Christ to happen. The expression of that wholeness and new life is seen in service to others.
Small Niche/Big Impact
Barnabas strives to serve as a conduit that connects people to people as we walk in Christ serving one another.
We serve as a para-church organization brokering service opportunities and promoting spiritual growth through service.
Our forte is to link persons looking for/needing assistance with persons or entities providing assistance and/or people who desire to tangibly or monetarily help.
We strive to be small but mighty; following Jesus’ example to help individuals whether on their own or as members of a community group.
People have sought our help for all sorts of challenges large and small; whether its a an affordable commuter car, rehab on a community facility or pumping energy into a spiritual retreat.
Spritual growth is nurtured through service and our weekly video/audio homilies that offer meditation on how we live on Earth as Christ’s followers.
